Designer Fug: Salvatore Ferragamo Prima Flats

These are Salvatore Ferragamo “Prima” leather ballet flats, was selling for a handsome $390 (RM1369.49) at Neiman Marcus. And now it's on sale at $137 (RM481.08). I'm not surprised at the huge drop in price.

I’m here to tell you what you already know: they’re ugly. Fugly, even. No, really.

I’m convinced the leather and craftsmanship are top-notch, but the styling in no way befits the legacy of the man who shod the likes of Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Sophia Loren, Rita Hayworth, etc.

I wouldn't wear it even if you gave it to me for free.

Pac-man Women!

+giggles+

A Pac-Man-inspired fashion show? At Fashion Week in London? Giles Deacon had his models sashay down the runway for his Spring 2009 collection either looking like Pac-Man or wearing him on their dresses. Giles must be a really huge fan of Pac-man. Some of these models look like they just ran out of a hair salon with those heat thingies still attached to their heads.

New York Fashion Week Crime!

OH NO, YOU DIDN'T!!!

As New York Fashion Week draws to a close, it's time to look towards London - but not before taking a quick look back at the Crimes of New York, S/S 09. Chief of these had to Alexandre Herchovitch and his, um, "interesting" crotch flowers.

I'm sure there's a very deep and meaningful reason why these now exist in the world, but I'm equally sure anyone caught wearing them will be headed straight to the cells.
